Until May 2022 I was a local authority councillor with the City of Edinburgh Council (of City Chambers, High Street, Edinburgh EH1 1YJ). I spent approximately 21 hours a week on this role. I received remuneration of between £15,001 and £20,000 per annum, which included the use of a laptop, mobile phone and iPad. My salary was donated via the Give as You Earn Scheme directly through HR Payroll. I received the final payment in May 2022. [Amended interest 22 February 2023]
