Montagues Pub, Kirkcaldy, Fife, Receives Best Licensed Premises in Scotland 2024 Award at Scotland's Business Awards

That the Parliament celebrates the Best Licensed Premises in Scotland 2024 Award going to Montagues pub, based in Kirkcaldy, Fife, at Scotland's Business Awards; understands that the venue has now won Best Licensed Premises Fife, and Scotland, for two years running, and is very popular with locals and sports fans, with it having a reputation for its warm and welcoming atmosphere; recognises Montagues’ continued commitment to the local community and charity work, with it having raised over £1,600 for a new defibrillator for Kirkcaldy High Street, in honour of the passing of one of its regulars; acknowledges the pub's previous awards at the National Pub and Bar Awards and Scottish Hospitality Awards, as well as it receiving Fife's Best Newcomer award from Best Bar None Scotland; congratulates the operator, John Ogilvie, and all of his team on this achievement, and extends its very best wishes for continued success in the future.
