Scottish Borders Minister, Rev Rosie Frew, Appointed Moderator-Designate of the Church of Scotland General Assembly

That the Parliament congratulates Scottish Borders minister, Rev Rosie Frew, on being appointed the Moderator-Designate of the Church of Scotland General Assembly; understands that Rev Frew, who is the minister of Bowden and Melrose Parish Church, will become the Kirk’s ambassador at home and abroad in May 2025, succeeding the current Moderator, Rt Rev Dr Shaw Paterson; further understands that Rev Frew brings to this new role her experience of parish ministry in Fife and the Borders as well as church involvement at presbytery and national level, including as convener of the Faith Nurture Forum, and wishes Rev Frew all the very best in her new position.
