That the Parliament congratulates the Knights Templar Goodwill Charity of Scotland, which has received a £34,640 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will be used to continue support for the organisation’s first Veterans, Homeless and Community Hub, which is located in Cowdenbeath; further understands that The Hub is used as both a collection point and a place where people can pop in and pick up a care pack without having any stigma or embarrassment attached; recognises that The Hub helps support individuals with their mental health and wellbeing and helps tackle social isolation, providing a social and safe contact point to those most vulnerable and affected by the cost of living increase, and welcomes the prediction that that this project will benefit up to 1,200 local people in the year with 26 volunteers involved in providing the service.
