That the Parliament honours the memory of Private George Alister Walker Ewan from Dollar; understands that he served in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, dying in battle, in Italy, in June 1944; welcomes the news that, previously having been buried in a grave marked as an unknown soldier, his grave has now been rededicated with military honours; appreciates the role of researchers in identifying Private Ewan, and is grateful that he may now be honoured for his sacrifice.
