That the Parliament recognises a Clydebank-based charity for its outstanding service to residents; understands that Clyde Shopmobility was founded in 2003 and began full operations in 2011; recognises that, due to the National Lottery Community Fund, with a grant of £125,229, funding has been secured for the next three years to allow additional staffing to provide extended services; commends founders Jackie and Margaret Maceira for their hard work and dedication to ensuring that everyone in their community has access to disabled assistance equipment, and celebrates local charities such as Clyde Shopmobility, which is based out of Clyde Shopping Centre and offers mobility scooters, wheelchairs, a sighted guide service, advice on disability benefits and small equipment to support people in their own homes.
