That the Parliament congratulates Jam Street School of Dance in Kilmarnock on being awarded official SQA status; understands that the owner, Susan Kelly, Fellow of the British Association of Teachers of Dance (FBATD), is absolutely thrilled that the dance school is now an SQA-approved centre, meaning that the school can now teach the National Progression Award in Dance at SCQF Level 4, the SCQF Leadership Award Levels 5 and 6, and the National 5 Dance qualification; considers that the school, which has branches throughout East Ayrshire, received outstanding feedback from dance colleges about the high level of training that students received at the Jam Street, which has resulted in this amazing opportunity to further educate young dancers, and commends the team at the Jam Street on this truly fantastic achievement.
