That the Parliament congratulates Music Broth on being shortlisted for the Creative Regeneration category of the SURF 2024 Awards; acknowledges Music Broth as “Scotland’s loudest library”, dedicated to making music accessible to all through the shared use of musical equipment; notes that the instrument library holds over 3,000 musical items, many generously donated from across Scotland, which are restored and repaired into a circular economy sharing library; commends Music Broth for providing instruments for learners and established musicians alike, for both long- and short-term use, and for its efforts during lockdown, when it delivered over 500 instruments Scotland-wide, along with online workshops to support community wellbeing and mental health; and wishes Music Broth continued success in its mission to make music accessible to all.
