Cranhill Development Trust Shortlisted for Community Led Regeneration in SURF Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Cranhill Development Trust (CDT) on its shortlisting for the Community Led Regeneration category at the 2024 SURF Awards; acknowledges the CDT's integral role in the Cranhill community since its establishment in 2002; recognises CDT’s dynamic and forward-thinking approach in responding to the complex needs of the community, evolving from a single staff member to a vibrant hub supporting around 2,000 people annually; commends CDT’s primary charitable aims to promote resilience, tackle poverty and address social exclusion through a holistic range of programmes, opportunities, and events; appreciates the diverse range of activities offered by CDT, including employability and welfare support, health and wellbeing activities, learning and development programmes and community gardening sessions, and celebrates its efforts in creating an inclusive, healthier and happier community in Cranhill.
