That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy Civic Society on celebrating its 50th anniversary; understands that the society was launched in 1974, initially with the aim to protect common land within the town; further understands that its current work focuses on promoting public interest in Kirkcaldy's past; notes the celebratory programming in place to mark the occasion of its golden jubilee, and celebrates the organisation's volunteer leadership for its ongoing efforts to add to what it sees as Kirkcaldy's rich cultural life.
