That the Parliament congratulates The Bistro in Rutherglen on its 25th year of business as a well-loved, family-run restaurant; understands that The Bistro is a popular local venue for many a family celebration or special occasion; recognises that, over The Bistro’s 25-year history, it has been run by many members of the Freeman family; notes that, as part of its anniversary celebrations, the restaurant is launching a competition to raise money for the Beatson Cancer Charity, which is a cause close to the family's heart; commends these fundraising efforts, and wishes all involved with The Bistro all the very best for the next 25 years.
