That the Parliament congratulates Deaf Links, Dundee, on winning the Sensory Loss: Positive Self Management category within the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) Self Management Awards 2024; understands that Deaf Links is a member-led organisation that has been operating in Tayside since 2009, which supports Deaf people to live independently and well; further understands that, over 2023-24, the Deaf Women’s Health Project and Violence Against Deaf Women Project have worked to support Deaf women through greater access to health information and services for survivors of domestic abuse, and commends Deaf Links and its members for what it sees as the positive impact of these essential projects.
