East Renfrewshire Primary Schools Receive High Praise after Latest Inspections

That the Parliament understands that Carolside Primary School, in Clarkston, and Cross Arthurlie Primary School, in Barrhead, have received high praise following their latest visits from Education Scotland; understands that Education Scotland visited Carolside Primary in May 2024 and Cross Arthurlie Primary in June 2024; notes that Carolside Primary’s "leadership of change" was highlighted as an excellent quality; further notes that Cross Arthurlie Primary received notable praise for "raising attainment and achievement"; congratulates Carolside Primary's headteacher, Bryan Maclachlan, and Cross Arthurlie Primary's headteacher, Fiona McDonald, on playing their role in helping their schools achieve that for which they have been praised, and further congratulates the staff, pupils, parents and carers and wider communities at both schools on all contributing to these glowing reviews and on adding to the renowned reputation of East Renfrewshire educational settings.
