  • Motion reference: S6M-14705

That the Parliament welcomes the work of the Ramblers Association in running a public vote to find Britain's Favourite Path; notes that, out of hundreds of entries, the eight shortlisted nominations for the title include the Clyde Walkway, which runs for 40 miles through rural, industrial and urban landscapes, from Partick and Glasgow city centre to New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde; thanks the Ramblers Association for its work in raising awareness of the important role that paths and access to nature play in people's lives, and encourages people to visit ramblers.org.uk/britainsfavouritepath and vote for the Clyde Walkway before the close of voting on 6 October 2024.
