Congratulating St Mirren Legend, Tony Fitzpatrick, on Receiving Fellowship from West College Scotland

That the Parliament congratulates the St Mirren legend, Tony Fitzpatrick, on receiving the Fellowship award from West College Scotland for his decades of work with the Paisley club and within the local community; notes that the former player, manager, CEO and current ambassador of the Buddies has had links with the town for five decades and has worked with various charities to assist those in need; recognises that his current project, Legacy Comps, which is a lottery-funded scheme, awards significant prizes to good causes across Renfrewshire, such as St Vincent's Hospice and Rays of Hope, as well as multiple schools and community groups across the region, and understands that West College Scotland and Tony have worked together on the Legacy Comps scheme, and that he has been recognised for his tireless work throughout Renfrewshire with this prestigious Fellowship award.
