That the Parliament congratulates Art in Healthcare on winning the Self Management Through the Arts category at the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE’s) Self Management Awards 2024 through its Calmbulance project; understands that Art in Healthcare works to improve health and wellbeing by providing opportunities to experience and engage with art and creativity; further understands that it operates a participatory programme of art workshops specifically aimed at people with long-term conditions and unpaid carers through its projects, Caring Spaces, Taking Art Home and Room for Art; commends the staff, artists, volunteers and participants who have made these projects a success, and celebrates the positive impact that they have had on the mental health and wellbeing of all involved.
