Sahelis Falkirk Awarded £10,000 Grant from the National Lottery Community Fund

That the Parliament congratulates Sahelis Falkirk on being awarded a £10,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund to provide a range of social and recreational activities to improve the health and wellbeing of women and girls, especially from ethnic minority backgrounds, who are resident in Falkirk; notes that Sahelis has been improving the health and wellbeing of women and girls in Falkirk for many years, and has put on excursions and group engagement sessions, as well as offering one-to-one support, and further notes that Sahelis carries out important work to support women and girls, including those who experience social isolation, and helps to support them in many ways, including powerful work to bring women and girls into a supportive environment.
