That the Parliament congratulates Deaf Services Lanarkshire (DSL), based in Coatbridge, on receiving £80,000 from People’s Postcode Lottery; recognises that DSL serves deaf residents in Lanarkshire and includes a drop-in centre to improve access for deaf people to mainstream services, such as phone calls to doctors and hospitals; believes that this award is vital in supporting the charity at every level and allows DLS to reach more people who need this type of support, and wishes it well in future.
