That the Parliament congratulates Karen Hounsom, who is from the Edinburgh Eastern constituency, after she won at the Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF World Masters in Las Vegas in September 2024, following her gaining a bronze medal working up to the World Masters in Paris in spring 2024; recognises Karen's considerable demonstration of strength and resilience in overcoming a shoulder injury and her commitment to enduring intense training sessions when preparing for the World Masters, and commends Karen for being a carer for older people and an overall inspiration to women who can achieve the highest of goals.
