That the Parliament understands that the 3rd Barrhead Scout Group has celebrated reaching its centenary; notes that the group invited Scouts old and new to join the celebrations, specifically hosting a celebratory weekend camp for current Scouts and holding a celebration dinner and camp experience at Lapwing Lodge for former Scouts; thanks the Scout group for teaching generations of young people from Barrhead and the surrounding areas the value of working together, adventure and fostering important skills such as problem solving and preparedness through camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling and cycling; thanks all of the volunteers, past and present, for devoting their time to helping young people get the very most out of being a Scout; wishes the 3rd Barrhead Scout Group the very best for the future, and hopes that its second century will be just as special and impactful as its first.
