Billington’s of Lenzie Named Scotland’s Deli of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates the team at Billington's of Lenzie on being named Scotland’s Deli of the Year at the 10th Food Awards Scotland 2024; understands that the prestigious award was presented to the local family-run artisan deli, café and bakery at a special ceremony in Glasgow on 26 August 2024, which saw top professionals come together to celebrate their achievements; acknowledges that the awards mark the accomplishments of restaurants, cafes, chefs, producers and other culinary experts across Scotland, and applauds the outstanding quality of nominees who contribute to the country’s culinary landscape; commends what it sees as the continuing dedicated customer service and warm welcome extended by the Billington family and its team to all who visit this popular store, and wishes Billington’s, which was founded in 2012 and is also the producer of what it considers to be one of Scotland’s best gins, Lenzie Gin, which achieved the accolade of Scotland’s Gin of the Year at the Scottish Gin Awards in 2019, continued success in serving the constituents of Strathkelvin and Bearsden.
