Celebrating the Career of Sir Andy Murray

That the Parliament congratulates Dunblane’s Sir Andy Murray on what it sees as his outstanding tennis career; celebrates the many records that he set during his 19-year career, including winning three Grand Slams, 14 Masters 1000 titles, two Olympic Gold medals, leading his country to Davis Cup success and achieving the world number one ranking; acknowledges his status as Scotland’s most successful tennis player; believes that his achievements have inspired many more people to take up tennis; wishes him an enjoyable and fulfilling retirement, and all the best for his future endeavours.
