Celebrating the University of Stirling’s Swimming Success at the Paris Olympics

That the Parliament congratulates Alloa’s Duncan Scott, former student of the University of Stirling, on securing gold in the men's 4 x 200 metres freestyle relay at the Olympics in Paris alongside team mates, James Guy, Matt Richards and Tom Dean; understands that they are the first four swimmers to ever successfully defend an Olympic 4 x 200 metres relay title, which has featured in the Olympics since the early 20th century; further congratulates the University of Stirling’s Jack McMillan, who helped secure the Olympic 4 x 200 metres freestyle relay title through winning Gold in the morning 4 x 200 metres heats, and wishes Duncan and his team mates continued success for the future.
