That the Parliament congratulates Joe Lynas, John D’Ambrosio and John Kane from Hamilton Judo Club on receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award at South Lanarkshire Disability Sports Awards; understands that the great friends, and founders of club, were celebrated for their contribution to its Inclusion Development Programme, which was created in partnership with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Sotheby’s Lanarkshire Disability Sport; applauds the not-for-profit club for this innovative programme, which offers opportunities for schools and groups from social care centres to work with coaches and volunteers on fundamental motor skills, using judo as the focus; recognises that, during the awards ceremony, the coaches were honoured for their role as inspirational leaders in the community who are dedicated to using their sport to enrich the lives of disabled people; commends the three coaches for creating a truly inclusive environment with no barriers, and wishes everyone involved with Hamilton Judo Club all the very best for the future.
