Aberdeen University Students Speed Toward Success at International Motorsport Competition

That the Parliament congratulates Team Aberdeen University Racing (TAU Racing) on achieving a fantastic result at Formula Student 2024; notes that TAU Racing crossed the finishing line first place in Scotland and third in the UK at the prestigious racing competition; further notes that the event took place at Silverstone between 17 and 21 July 2024; understands that the students designed and manufactured their own car, and competed against 56 teams from 13 countries, including Norway, Malta and Australia; further understands that the event, organised by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) challenges teams to design, manufacture and race a single seat racing car, and wishes all the students involved in the project all the best for their future careers..
