North Lanarkshire Pupils win Junior Engineering Award

That the Parliament congratulates a team of four pupils at St Aidan’s High School, North Lanarkshire, on winning the 2024 Junior Engineering Award at the Birmingham Big Bang competition; applauds their project, “A Theme Park for The Future”, which researched eco-policies of theme parks; commends their idea of using wind, solar and kinetic energy produced by park visitors to run rollercoasters; compliments their enthusiasm for renewable energies, as well as what it sees as their innovative thinking, and thanks the Big Bang Fair for its encouragement of young pupils from state-funded schools to become involved in science and engineering.
