Fallin Community Champion Named Trustee of the Year at SCVO Charity Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Michelle Robertson, of Fallin Community Voice, on winning the Trustee of the Year Award at the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) Scottish Charity Awards, held at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow on 20 June 2024; understands that Michelle was named as Trustee of the Year for her special ability to rally the local community of the former mining village, Fallin, and inspire everyone to make the village a better place to live through fundraising for and organising community meals, a community garden and a variety of social events; believes that nothing can stop Michelle from doing the best she can for this low-income community; praises Michelle on what it sees as the valuable contribution she has made to Fallin Community Voice’s aims of improving the lives of people living and working in Fallin; celebrates the achievements of all 39 finalists in the 2024 Scottish Charity Awards; recognises the hard work of SCVO in organising and hosting the Scottish Charity Awards annually, and thanks Michelle, Fallin Community Voice, and all nominated voluntary organisations and individuals for what it considers to be the crucial work that they do in communities across the country.
