24-hour Litter Pick in Aberdeen

That the Parliament notes that a 24-hour litter pick session took place across Aberdeen on 20 June 2024, which was organised by Clean Up Aberdeen in partnership with Keep Scotland Beautiful; understands that many groups across the city, including groups based within the Aberdeen Donside constituency such as Forehill School, Cummings Park Community Flat, SHMU Wellbeing Café, Northfield Community Centre’s Thursday Club and the Countryside Rangers, took part in this event; thanks the Environmental Services Team at Aberdeen City Council for its continued efforts in ensuring that Aberdeen is a clean and welcoming city; commends the efforts of all who took part in this event to help clean up Aberdeen, and wishes those who took part in the event all the best going forward.
