Liam Renton Wins Third British Pipe Band Title

That the Parliament congratulates Liam Renton of the Inveraray and District Pipe Band on securing his third British Championship win at the 2024 British Pipe Band Championships in Forres; acknowledges that Mr Renton competed in tough weather conditions to become British Drum Major Champion; understands that, as well as winning this title for the third time, he has also won the Scottish and European titles twice; recognises the years of practice and hard graft that has gone into honing his craft, as well as the immense support that he has received over the years from his parents and tutors, and wishes Liam the best of luck for the forthcoming Scottish, European and World Championships.
