That the Parliament congratulates Chloe Jackson, of Aberdeen, on being named the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Scotland’s Nursing Student of the Year at the recent Nurse of the Year Awards; notes that the award recognises those who have shown exceptional promise during their professional education or practice placement; understands that Chloe, a recent graduate from Robert Gordon University (RGU), has been recognised for her commitment to her nursing student colleagues and the future nursing workforce through various platforms, including a nursing podcast and a nursing blog, as well as founding the Support and Understanding for Neurodivergent Nurses (SUNN) project, which aims to improve the nursing profession by creating a more inclusive environment and enhancing patient care; commends Chloe for challenging what it sees as discrimination and misunderstanding faced by neurodivergent nurses in practice, and wishes her every success in her future nursing career.
