That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow Kelvin College on another successful academic year culminating in its awards ceremony hosted in the Glasgow City Chambers; notes that the event allows for the rightful recognition of outstanding achievement for all the hardworking students over the year with the support of a dedicated faculty; understands that students are selected not only for their dedication, commitment, and success on their respective courses of study but also where some have had to show true resilience to overcome external factors away from college and within their own personal life, and recognises specifically, Samantha Smith, who studied an NC Health & Social Care and who, it understands, has excelled in 2024, both academically and socially too, under extremely challenging circumstances.
