That the Parliament recognises Carers Week, which is taking place from 10 to 16 June 2024; understands that it is a UK-wide campaign that is seeking to increase awareness and visibility of carers so that politicians, employers, service providers and businesses throughout Scotland's communities recognise the challenges that carers face and the support that it believes they deserve; notes that this year's theme is "Putting Carers on the Map", which aims to highlight what it sees as the invaluable contribution that carers make across the UK and to enable carers' voices to be heard clearly, and welcomes that a variety of in-person activities for carers to take part in will be held across Lanarkshire.
