That the Parliament congratulates Knightswood FC on its 50-year anniversary; recognises that the club has grown from its initial vision to provide kids with the opportunity to play football, to become an integral community football club that serves the local area, while also teaching kids life skills and discipline, as well as offering them a place that they can call home; supports the club’s continuing vision to build strong relationships within the community, to provide opportunities through sport, and to improve lives through football, while developing a first-class football club that will provide the tools and skills for everyone to succeed in life, and echoes the club’s motto, "Life is like football, you need goals".
