That the Parliament congratulates Captain Russell Myles, the longest-serving pilot with Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), on his retirement; notes that Russell helped establish the charity’s life-saving service 11 years ago and won the prestigious Air Ambulances UK Awards of Excellence Pilot of the Year title, making him the sector’s top UK pilot in 2023; considers that he played a pivotal role in setting up a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) with SCAA, based at Perth Airport, Scone, in 2013, and wishes Russell all the best in his retirement.
