Celebrating Oban Golfer Robert MacIntyre

That the Parliament celebrates Oban golfer, Robert MacIntyre, on winning his first PGA Tour title at the RBC Canadian Open; further congratulates his father Dougie, the head greenkeeper at Glencruitten Golf Club in Oban, who, it understands, not only taught him the game of golf at the club, but was also his caddy during the competition; recognises that MacIntyre is the first Scottish player to win on the PGA Tour since Martin Laird in 2020, and wishes him well after the victory secured his place at the US Open, which starts on 13 June 2024 at Pinehurst in North Carolina.
