That the Parliament congratulates Darvel Football Club on winning the Scottish Junior Cup for the first time, defeating a fine Arthurlie FC side 2-1 and making it 10 in a row for Ayrshire clubs winning the competition; recognises that Darvel FC also won the 2024 West of Scotland League Cup; notes that "The Vale" was formed in 1889 and recent successes include defeating Aberdeen FC in the Scottish Cup fourth round in 2023; acknowledges what it sees as the incredible achievement of the club in recent years under John Gall, and wishes Darvel FC and Arthurlie FC all the best for the coming season.
