UCAS Application Fee Waived for Students from Disadvantaged Background

That the Parliament welcomes the announcement by the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) that the application fee to higher education will be waived for those who have been eligible for free school meals in the last six years; further understands that this will be available from September 2024, for the September 2025 intake, and believes that this will have a particularly positive impact on those from a deprived background.
