Aberdeen Big Sing 2024

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen City Council on its Aberdeen Big Sing 2024 event, which was held in Duthie Park, Aberdeen; notes that the event brought together P4 pupils from across the whole of Aberdeen to sing in a choir, accompanied by a pipe band, live orchestra and Ashley Road Woodwind Group; commends the Aberdeen Big Sing 2024 event for bringing children and families from varying backgrounds together through a shared enjoyment of music; understands that Aberdeen Big Sing 2024 had a positive impact on the emotional wellbeing of its participants, and, furthermore, that it was a formative and uplifting experience for the participants and their families; believes that, for some of the event’s participants, Aberdeen Big Sing 2024 will have led to a life-long interest in music; praises everyone who took part in Aberdeen Big Sing 2024, and looks forward to future Aberdeen Big Sing events.
