That the Parliament congratulates the pupils of Georgetown Primary School in Dumfries on winning two awards from environmental charity, Keep Scotland Beautiful, in May 2024; commends the school on winning awards for the national Climate Action Project of the Year as part of the Eco-Schools Scotland programme, and for the Litter League for the South Scotland region; understands that the competition formed part of the charity’s annual spring clean, which saw more than 40,000 people get involved in the events, and recognises that 32 bags of litter were collected by the 176 children who helped to clean up Dumfries.
