Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will list each of the organisations that engaged with its special advisers in October and November 2017 regarding the Children and Young People (Information Sharing) (Scotland) Bill and confirm on what dates the engagements took place.

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S5W-12220 by John Swinney on 7 November 2017, on what date the cabinet secretary instructed his officials to engage with each of the organisations.

As detailed in the response to S5W-12220 the Scottish Government has continued stakeholder engagement since the introduction of the Children and Young People (Information Sharing) (Scotland) Bill in June 2017.

As I set out in my letter to the Education and Skills Committee on 15 March 2018, it is entirely right and proper for the Scottish Government to discuss policy options with stakeholders throughout the passage of the Information Sharing Bill. I discuss stakeholder engagement with officials on an on-going basis and am and remain fully aware of engagement undertaken by officials in relation to the Bill.
