Answer
The Carbon Account for Transport provides a detailed analysis of annual transport emissions data for Scotland, including emissions by vehicle type. The latest edition of the Carbon Account, covering the period from 1990-2017, is available on the Transport Scotland website at: https://www.transport.gov.scot/publication/carbon-account-for-transport-no-11-2019-edition/ .
A full set of transport emissions data for Scotland is currently only available at the national level, and not at the level of parliamentary region. The UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy publishes Local Authority-level emissions data for some types of surface transport at the following address: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/uk-local-authority-and-regional-carbon-dioxide-emissions-national-statistics-2005-to-2017 .
