To ask the Scottish Government what the eligibility criteria will be for funding via strategic funding partnerships; what body will administer such funding, and what form the application process will take.

The Scottish Government invited organisations which satisfied one or more of the following criteria in to discussions about establishing Strategic Funding Partnerships:

The organisation is unique in the services it delivers and loss of these services would have an unacceptable impact;

The service the organisation provides is a key part of the Scottish Governments national support for delivery;

The organisation’s service is important in ensuring equality of access to support.

There is no application process. The Scottish Government has approached key organisations. The Scottish Government will administer Strategic Funding Partnerships.

To ask the Scottish Government whether successful applicants to the Third Sector Early Intervention Fund will be eligible to apply for funding via strategic funding partnerships.

The Third Sector Early Intervention Fund (TSEIF) and Strategic Funding Partnerships are designed to provide a coherent package of support to deliver key outcomes for children, young people and the families and communities who support them across Scotland. In order to support as many organisations in the third sector as possible, organisations which successfully applied to the TSEIF have not been approached about Strategic Funding Partnerships.

To ask the Scottish Government how much it has invested in (a) Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, (b) Pentland Hills Regional Park, (c) Edinburgh Castle, (d) the National Museum of Scotland, (e) the National Gallery of Scotland, (f) Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and (g) the Burrell Collection in each year since 1999 and (i) Cairngorms National Park and (ii) Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in each year since 2002.
