To ask the Scottish Government how many posts in Registers of Scotland are subject to a recruitment and retention allowance or other market-based pay supplements, and whether it will provide a breakdown of staff in these posts by (a) age, (b) gender and (c) geographical area.
Answer
A phased withdrawal of an IT pay supplement for three members of staff began on 1 December 2012 and ends on 30 September 2015. As there are only three people affected a breakdown by age and/or location could identify them and is therefore not appropriate.
