Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)

To ask the Scottish Government how it will ensure that the reported increased number of cyclists following the COVID-19 outbreak are kept safe; whether it plans to review the content, volume and format of its cycling safety information for (a) schoolchildren, (b) the general public and (c) motorists, and what progress it is making in segregating pedestrians from cyclists wherever possible, to reduce any potential conflict.
