Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government how much it will allocate in the 2015-16 draft Budget to socially-rented housing, and what its position is on the evidence submitted to the Infrastructure and Capital Investment Committee by Shelter Scotland, which recommended that at least £200 million in addition to the already allocated budget should be committed toward this.

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S4O-04069 by Maureen Watt on 4 March 2015 (Official Report, c.12), in light of the minister's comment that "there are no plans to close the CIC [Glasgow Centre for Integrative Care], which we see as having a role for patients across Scotland”, what its position is on NHS Lanarkshire's decision to no longer refer patients to the centre from April 2015, and whether it will ask the board to review its decision.
