Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S5W-16367 by Aileen Campbell on 18 May 2018, in light of it being the practice for women who travel to England for these services, and to reduce the need for overnight stays in hospital, whether it will reconsider its position on whether women from Northern Ireland who receive same-day abortion services in Scotland can be given misoprostol to take at home the next day, and what the reasons are for its position on this matter.
