To ask the Scottish Government what assistance it is providing to improve community transport links throughout the west of Scotland.
Answer
We provide local authorities with funding for community transport services as part of the block local government finance arrangements.
In addition, we paid over £1.5 million in bus service operators grants to community transport providers across Scotland in 2012-2013; and we are providing funding to the Community Transport Association in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 to support its operations in Scotland.
We do not hold disaggregated data for the West of Scotland.

Answer
The Scottish Government does not collect this information. It is a matter for individual local authorities to decide which organisations they rent premises to, and the rents that they charge.
