To ask the Scottish Government, in light of the publication in December 2015 of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 – Consultation Analysis Report, whether it plans to (a) increase the length of sentence that would qualify for "rehabilitation" under the act from 30 months and (b) lower the rehabilitation periods for (i) alternatives to prosecution, (ii) non-custodial sentences and (iii) custodial sentences, and, if so, when it plans to do this.
