Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on the status of the four proposed Nature Conservation marine protected areas, identified to protect a host of marine species and habitats in Scotland and for which Scottish Natural Heritage provided formal advice in 2014 and what measures it is taking to ensure the conservation status of these species and habitats in the meantime.
