To ask the Scottish Executive how many inspections of sunbed salons have taken place since the implementation of the Public Health etc. (Scotland) Act 2008 (Sunbed) Regulations 2009.
Answer
The information requested is not held centrally. Inspection of sunbed premises are undertaken by local authority enforcement officers. However, it is intended to survey local authorities on their enforcement of the regulations once these have been in force for a year.

The information requested is not held centrally. The Scottish Government does not routinely collect data on the Sunbed Regulations 2009. However, it is intended to survey local authorities on their enforcement of the regulations once these have been in force for a year.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether any sunbed salons have closed as a result of the implementation of the Public Health etc. (Scotland) Act 2008 (Sunbed) Regulations 2009.
Answer
There is anecdotal evidence of a small number of unsupervised premises closing as a result of the new regulations, and of a number of health clubs no longer offering sunbed facilities to their members.

To ask the Scottish Executive what information is collected on the incidence of anti-Semitism in Scotland.

The Scottish Government publishes annual statistics on racist incidents recorded and cleared up by Scottish police forces: http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Statistics/Browse/Crime-Justice/PubRacistIncidents.
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service also publishes statistics for crimes of racial and religious prejudice in Scotland which have been reported to them:

To ask the Scottish Executive whether there is evidence to suggest that recent anti-Semitic graffiti at Glenduffhill cemetery can be considered an isolated incident.

The Scottish Government has no information to suggest that the incident was anything other than an isolated incident of anti-Semitic graffiti at this cemetery.
